Very worth the watch, despite the low viewer positive votes, but the critics got it right. I'm not particularly a slasher film enthusiast, but I enjoyed this flick, as this one is a good mix of genres that is convincing, disturbing and well done. Hard to guess what will happen next.

Decent suspense and mystery for while, then it just seems to lose track of what it is and becomes something less suspenseful and less interesting for awhile. What it ended up as felt disconnected from what it set up to be, despite it being somewhat what was set up.

I honestly really liked it. The plot twists were really interesting and I didn't expect them. kinda figured it would be exactly how it was set up; the killer from the 60s still alive and killing. but it's definitely deeper than that. (Spoilers ahead) there's definitely a killer but you don't find out till the end. you get caught up in Nora being a psycho and forget the black boot not matching her shoes. him finding them right after their fight mid drive, is intense enough, but the scene where he drags their car is insanely intense. not to mention it's a pretty unique kill method, as far as horror kills go. Then the dog chase and the glued mouths! I thought it'd be pretty basic but the plot twists make it worth it! just not completely sure I totally understand why Atte went out in the first place…to recreate murder pictures? but why? how does that help figure out theories? just a bit odd, don't really get the full reasoning. End is interesting as it sets up for bad things at lake bodom to continue on.
