It's a shame that what could have been an intriguing situational thriller devolves into a hateful, arduous drag. Go to Full Review

Trace the blast pattern to its source and you see a causal chain leading all the way back to a ticking time bomb of errant masculinity, exposed for all its emptiness. Go to Full Review

There is more to Landmine Goes Click than some might give it credit for. To dismiss it as another grotty exercise in terrorising women is missing the point somewhat. Go to Full Review

Combining a B-movie story with dark, visceral filmmaking, Landmine Goes Click, like its lead character, takes too many steps in the wrong direction. Go to Full Review

@Jenni53 2d I thought the movie was great, exactly Billy Bob Thorton, but the actors, mostly the females, didn’t fit the movie. Could have had better acting. Overall, was ok to watch. See more Silent D Nov 19 I genuinely could not stand this movie. My mom was the one who wanted to watch it, since she saw it on Tiktok and it looked interesting. The beginning started of pretty decent. But once Chris and his best friend's girl get screwed over, it just goes downhill from there. Like, most of the movie was SA. That isn't a movie. I was disgusted by how much SA there was. The movie had so much potential. Then at the end of the movie, Chris is just sitting on the floor, regretting what he did, then at the last few frames, the mine shows back up for no reason. Chris' character itself is also dumb. He very well could've shot the dog to get him to stop. He seemed to care about the dog enough. Chris could've even stepped off the mine to kill himself and Igai (the Russian guy who SA the girl). I would not watch it again. See more pablo m Oct 31 Landmine goes click starts like a really Bad B movie, Even a C (if that exists),silly, dumb, but the Bad acting , Bad filming gets a turning point on the 3rd act , evolving to probabbly one of the more unexpected raw, viceral scenes that I have memory on, btw the non stop camera work and acting on it is just flawless, the emotions are palpable, and the last shot is just the most honest human reaction, love it the ending See more Ralph R Jul 25 Landmine Goes Click (2015) might not be perfect, but for a one-year indie production with a modest budget, it really holds its ground. Levan Bakhia did a pretty solid job directing, even if the script didn’t exactly feel pro-level. There's a deeper message behind the story, though I can see how some might miss it. While there are a few moments that raise questions, they don’t take away from the overall experience, especially when viewed through the lens of psychological tension and moral complexity. The movie stands out for not following the usual narrative structure, and that actually works in its favor. The cinematography and visuals weren’t impressive, but they got the job done. What I appreciated most was the use of practical effects instead of CGI, which gave it a raw and grounded tone. Character development was handled well considering the limited scope, and the acting felt honest, not overly polished, but not fake either. For an independent thriller, it delivers more than you’d expect. See more Brooke B Jul 17 Genuinely one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Terrible acting, extremely long pointless scenes, weird random transitions, vulgar stuff, plot was awful. Only movie I've ever written a review about because it was seriously that terrible. See more Paul M May 1 This is one of the most uniquely original horror films I’ve ever seen and it absolutely deserves to be seen by a wider audience. It’s tense, unflinching and digs into some pretty dark and disturbing themes. And despite that I couldn’t stop watching, as difficult as that got at times… 8.6/10 See more Read all reviews
