Grant Watson Fiction Machine Sadly the lush visuals and the talented cast are unable to rescue a film that suffers from a confused and unlikeable screenplay. Rated: 4/10 Aug 4, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This was a terrible mistake. Boring, strange pacing, wooden acting from the leads. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member good cinematography with a wanting story... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Confusing story, told in snippets (perhaps because I don't really understand Mandarin, and there were no english subtitles). Some of the desert scenery is gorgeous, as were the cute wolf cubs, but it's the human interactions that were way too savage. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Very very difficult to follow, still a good movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Farmer Lu is recruited by the Han army in ancient China, fighting the nomadic tribes up in the mountains. When the snow comes and the army retreats, Lu finds himself in a Harran village where he falls for a beautiful woman â" but their love is threatened by a curse that foretells if they mate then theyâ(TM)ll become wolves forever more. A historical epic with a difference, this is less endless battle scenes, more metaphysical love story. It certainly looks good, aside a dodgy CGI storm, but the narrative does rather drag towards the end. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member almost the worst movie i have ever seen...... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
