Jordan Brooks Vague Visages It is a film for little humans (and big humans) that places hopefulness, imagination and kindness above all else. Audience Member Unhampered by the incomplete mythologies and frivolous subplots that diminish even the best in their oeuvre, it might very well be the most perfect film Ghibli ever produced. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Another wonderfully done Ghibli movie. The dialogues, actions and everything in the movie should make it worth watching for people of any age group. An adventure of a Boy and a Mysterious Girl, Quest for an abandoned Utopia, its a fantastic journey from the start. The main villain's dialogues and actions are not like out of some cartoon movie, you know what he wants to do and he will say it. His dialogues will give you an interesting experience. The Movies very nicely shows how much power can be gained from knowledge, and how power corrupts. Fear of something powerful, even if it doesn't exist, is big enough a reason to start a huge attack/search. Well, even if one doesn't read too deeply into it, the scenic locations and direction will send you to a really enjoyable fantasy adventure with lots of humour and adventure. One Interesting thing about the movie is that the characters for the movie were used in future movies! Lucita looks like Kiki/Naussica, The Granny is exactly like the old one in Howl's Moving Castle, The little girl (Pazu's boss' daughter) looks exactly like Ponyo. Its interesting to see how these characters designs from a such an old movie were used as leads for movies in the future. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member kind of a kids flick but im sure it has a deeper meaning... wasn't too bad Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
