See more Tanya 09/16/2023 Many movies claim to be ‘an experience' but this one takes that to an entirely new, meditative, austere, & slightly bizarre level. Foreign yet familiar. Primitive yet ultra modern. Engages one's imagination so purely & thoroughly… Simultaneous homage to Gehry, Jane Auel, brutalist architecture, Attenborough, Kubrick, & all of the very best Sci fi that preceded it. Very ‘scand' in its philosophy & stoicism. Star Trek references: at least 3 thematic ones. Tilda Swindon's narration is excellent. You may end up pondering the fate of the universe. I think this will be a film I will continue to revisit.
