Neil Genzlinger New York Times Had a chance to be a decent movie, but Vlad Yudin, who directed and wrote it, couldn't resist a potty joke. A long, grating potty joke. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 17, 2010 Full Review Nick Schager Village Voice Promises what it has no intention of delivering. Sep 14, 2010 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru [It] squanders an intriguing premise with an uneven, lazy and painfully juvenile screenplay that's low on laughs and imagination. Rated: 4.51/10 Sep 18, 2010 Full Review Frank Lovece Film Journal International A fine performance by character actor DJ Qualls can't make up for an amateurish enterprise as pathetically inept as its own hero's own attempts at recognition. Sep 17, 2010 Full Review Ethan Alter NYC Film Critic The script careens wildly between comic moments that aren't funny and dramatic moments that are preposterous and banal. Audience Member Not bad at all (it can work better on theatre). The cast did a wonderful job (this is more drama than comedy honestly). Qualls did a brilliant job same Reed and Robin Lord Taylor as Jason. No wonder why so many hate working on fast foods and this movie shows you a different side of it to know what it's like sometimes...enjoy. - December 2015 review. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Uneventful drama which offers very little in entertainment Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member How does the nerd from Road Trip get a lead in a movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review quelto m The movie is simply about how a person struggles to get him some self image......I liked the movie because it's a new idea.... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Frankly love this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Didn't mind this, but is definitely not what it appears to be. It is marketed as a horror, or thriller movie, but it is more of a drama and nothing that drastic ever happens, as you would be set up to believe. I was initially disappointed at the point where Stephanie and Joe part ways, but I liked the part where he confronted his ex boss and the decision he made - it seemed like he had learnt something. D J Qualls has an unusual appearance and I think he is quite compelling on screen. Nikki Reed I am never that impressed with, and here no exception. I just always think she looks really old and hard. I couldn't buy the bit where Joe expressed disbelief at the idea she had a five year old son (as she's supposedly too young) - hell, I could believe she had a ten year old! I guess she is not too bad an actress, but yeah, something about her usually doesn't work for me in movies. Still, quite an original movie and had the guts not to be gory or aim for the torture porn movie, I guess. Have to give them some credit there!
