Audience Member A group of interesting characters get stuck in a small hotel during a terrible blizzard. Some bodies are discovered, and the zaniness begins. This should have been engaging, but sadly it wasn't. Interesting enough mystery, but it just didn't gel very well. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Probably one of the worst movies of the decade... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Poorly acted take on AND THEN THERE WERE NONE that actually made me long for the empty gloss of IDENTITY. You don't need to see this, so I can tell you that Rose is the killer. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Its a good ass movie, another lil mystery movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Better than I was expecting; it's like a Vancouver ensemble cast (plus Rose and Jurgen) or maybe a Smallville reunion? Should've been filmed somewhere with real snow, though...Vancouver in 2000 wasn't it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Canadian-made independent whodunit about a group of strangers trapped in a hotel during a blizzard and a murderer trying to recover a bag of stolen money. Adam Beach plays the hapless state trooper who's trying to solve the murder (which quickly becomes a series of murders and assaults and arson) and Rose McGowan is his girlfriend from high school who, by coincidence, is stuck at the hotel as well, now married to a jerk. For most of the film, I admit, I thought the kindly old couple running the diner were the killers. Luckily they weren't. Callum Keith Rennie is one of the suspects, and is his usual likable self up until he's repeatedly stabbed. And there's a final snowmobile chase/Fairly silly ending shot that's just amusing enough to leave you feeling good about the film. A decent movie to watch if you're snowed in and need to kill a couple of hours. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews
