Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Everything is nonsense and not worth pondering. Rated: C- Jan 25, 2017 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a frustratingly surreal (and progressively interminable) piece of work. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 4, 2009 Full Review Louise Keller Urban Cinefile This chilling psychological thriller that keeps us hardwired to our seats gives charismatic Paul Walker a fine platform on which to display his considerable talents May 1, 2009 Full Review Johnny Butane Dread Central For all this grumbling, The Lazarus Project is technically a well put together film. It looks good, and is reasonably well acted. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 15, 2008 Full Review Prairie Miller NewsBlaze Combines chilling psychological horror with other scary notions like medical experimentation, death row, criminal redemption as an extinct idea, and religious tyranny. Jeffrey P Okay sci-fi premise that only hints at being something more, has some holes and an execution that could have been better. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/25/24 Full Review Farah R A genuinely intriguing mystery is present throughout, but the slow pace kills the movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review Sparky K Fascinating film, kept me intrigued right till the end. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/30/23 Full Review Sarah A I found this to be dull and slow moving, I fell asleep, and as a result, I didn't bother to watch the last 40 mins Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/25/23 Full Review Josh M Paul Walker is great, but the middle dragged and consequently the ending felt rushed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/16/23 Full Review r 9 It's a poor film, but Paul Walker saves it from coming out much worse. This performance of Walker's is the best I've seen of him away from the 'Fast & Furious' franchise, as everything else around him in 'The Lazarus Project' fails to make an impression his showing is terrific. Bob Gunton, if I had to pick someone, is the pick of the others. The story features an intriguing concept, but I can't say I was ever all that interested in it due to the way the film portrays it; which is a bit too episodic. They just show one thing, then the next and then the next and it never feels well connected. There is no mystique, despite a mystique-filled premise.
