The portrayal of LBJ as a sad loser is pretty funny, considering his reputation being so different. See more Scott M Jun 1 Woody Harrelson as the late president of the USA. What's weird about this film is that Reiner chooses to only tell the story about LBJ while he's VP under Kennedy. He completely skips LBJ's presidency from 1964-68. It makes the movie disingenuous. Not the best presidential movie I’ve seen but definitely not the worst. It’s powerful enough and good enough to pass as a movie that is worth watching. I enjoyed it.
