3 & 1/4 stars. Having been in high school during the era this film took place, I see the film from that perspective. Despite being so loved (until I read about his affairs), JFK brought great ideals, whereas LBJ made them happen.

Woody Harrelson and Jennifer Jason Leigh don some heavy prosthetics to play Lyndon B Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson respectively. Starting from his decision to run for Vice President under JFK and his work for civil rights to the assassination of JFK and his sudden stint as president. Harrelson is very good in the role once you get used to the prosthetics. Leigh was unrecognizable in the role. Very good performances from the entire cast. Interesting flick. Directed by Rob Reiner.

I enjoyed this movie and thought Woodie Harrelson did an incredible job at portraying LBJ as we look at the man and his presidential leadership before and after the Kennedy assassination.
