Audience Member I actually found it enjoyable and fun.. very light hearted movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrible acting, and a plot like molasses. Almost nothing happens the whole time, and no, pregnant lady, I don't want a piece of you. I don't even dislike gay people but this movie made me depressed and pessimistic about gay culture. Not even worth watching once, unless you want to watch a movie out lesbians simply because it's about lesbians. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member funny as well loved the acting and rather crazy storyline Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute, but a bit too much dancing Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Dance movies seem to be really in nowadays, so itâ(TM)s no wonder that we see some of that flashy show element seeping into the independent scene as well. âLeading Ladiesâ? is a good example on how you can make a âdance filmâ? but actually load it with real drama, substance and generally good writing. Something mainstream Hollywood hasnâ(TM)t seemed to have realized. The story centers around a family of four adult women: an overbearing, melodramatic mother and her two daughters. One of the daughters is intensively coached by her mother in competitive dancing while the other is constantly reconciling the fights of her prominently emotional family members. Things get interesting when one of the girls gets pregnant while the other falls in love with another woman. âLeading Ladiesâ? relies on several clichà (C)s as it delivers the comedy, but fares pretty well on the drama department. Some of the acting is a bit off, but the film has ambition and a big heart. Quite pleasant. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews
