I'm glad to say, watching it 15 years later I still do. It may even be better. A product of a great time in the 80's and 90's where small fantasy films were made with such enthusiasm that their charm just can't be denied. Sure it's campy, but everyone believes in their roles so fervently that you can't help but believe too! See more 09/29/2012 This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. When my family rented movies I always wanted this one, even though I had seen it countless times. It's a bit cheesy, but everyone has a guilty pleasure movie and this and its sequel are some of mine.
