Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com The biggest problem with the film is that no one can seem to decide what the film is really meant to be. Rated: 2.0/4.0 Sep 13, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Aj C So I sat thru and watched the whole movie and I had to say the acting was decent, casting was alright, the actors have to make a living and this is their profession. However the story was very difficult to watch. A man and his boyfriend go to his recently passed father's cabin, his childhood freind is staying there looking after the place and he used to have feelings for the dude when he was younger. His current boyfriend is kind of prissy and at times a little to much of a fish out of water. Like don't get me wrong I'm definitely not a out doors men, but he kind of makes me feel better about how I would do in the woods. Anyway the guy cheats on his boyfriend with his childhood crush and they all easily just move on and they break up waaaay to cleanly and the two dudes get together while the original boyfriend goes back to the city. Like you don't just do that. You can't just cheat on your boyfriend and just get with someone like that, it's slimy. The writes coukd have handled that waaaay better. I personally would have preferred a story where he had to fight the temptation to get with his crush and instead stayed with his current boyfriend. Until I can find that movie I will unfortunately have to settle for writing a review on this one. I honestly just hate movies where somone cheats on there significant other and gets away with it playing it off as it's for the greater good. Stories like that are poor writing and just really in my own opinion not ok. The boyfriend even in all of his own personality did not deserve that at all. He still went with his boyfriend to his dad's old home to be supportive, he did not deserve to be cheated on like that. Mind you dear reader he was up awake waiting for his boyfriend who was out in the woods banging his freind and they made it seem like it was all ok. Personally the movie just left a sour taste in my mouth and it was very poor writing. It made me feel really not great and if I knew what the movie was about before starting it I never would have watched it. This is the very first review I have ever left on a movie, that's how disgusted I am. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Tomppa T The acting was just too painful to watch.
