A crítica pode ter gostado, mas é um filme bem mediano. Digo isso, pois o roteiro tem até um charme, um suspense, mas quando o climax ocorre, você percebe que foi enganado, e os minutos finais terminam numa monotonia. Ainda existem algumas pontas soltas, talvez ocorridas por uma edição descuidada.

The most positive affirmation for child abuse I have ever seen. I wanted to strangle both kids. Is that papa?! You mean the guy banging on the door to get in where your dad just used his palm imprint to open the whole bunker…yeah I'm sure it's papa - oh and they their their mother. FFWD 20 years and this will be amazing MST3K fodder. Asmus deserves 10 bearings per episode - why, what's wrong, who was that? Shut up kid, this is the end of days not a playful learning anbex

Leave ist ein Horror- und Mystery-Thriller von Alex Herron… Eine junge Frau versucht, ihre Herkunft zu finden, nachdem sie als Säugling auf einem Friedhof ausgesetzt wurde, eingewickelt in ein Tuch mit satanischen Symbolen, aber je näher sie den Antworten kommt… Leave ist eher ein gewöhnlicher religiöser Thriller, ein Mystery Thriller mit Horror-Elementen… Das Tempo der Geschichte scheint ein wenig langatmig und stellenweise auch etwas vorhersehbar… Die Schauspielerei der Hauptdarsteller ist erstaunlich gut…

The answers ultimately come very quickly at the eleventh hour, tidily wrapping up what is an overly drawn-out narrative of repetitive examples of patriarchal domineering. I think von Rittberg [does] a good job keeping us invested, though.
