Continuing the story of Wade Robson and James Safechuck on their decade-long quest to have their day in court against Michael Jackson's companies. Produced by the award-winning AMOS Pictures and filmed over five years with full access to Wade, James, their families and legal teams, Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson tells the story of a difficult journey and its many twists, turns and setbacks. Returning multi award-winning director Dan Reed documents the second stage of Wade and James's quest which is now close to fruition. The third and final film will cover the trial, scheduled for late 2026, thus completing the Leaving Neverland trilogy. If their cases are successful, the potential positive impact on the United States' entertainment industry will be huge. Music and movie companies will no longer be able to shrug off responsibility when one of their stars sexually abuses a minor in their care. The documentary also examines the impact of its 2019 predecessor Leaving Neverland and of Oprah Winfrey's follow-up program on the two men and their families, and on the hard-core MJ fan community.

Safechuck’s anguished talk of his dialogue with his younger self felt thoroughly convincing to me. If this is all an elaborate fiction, it would make them more accomplished performers than Jackson himself. Go to Full Review

On its own, Leaving Neverland 2 is, unfortunately, not much to speak of. Go to Full Review

With a big-budget Hollywood biopic, Michael, due for release in October, it seems only right that Leaving Neverland 2 reminds us of the serious accusations skirted by these Jackson estate-approved productions. Go to Full Review

I love Michael’s music, he was a one-of-a-kind artist, and I don’t think it’s at all possible that every one of his many accusers is lying. Go to Full Review

By fixating on the legal aspects of the story, the music industry which continues to make millions off Jackson’s tainted legacy is left entirely off the hook. Go to Full Review

Giu T @RT08353929 13h An investigative documentary without any counterargument undoubtedly becomes a cheap piece of fiction. There is no form of evidence supporting what is being said—no proof at all. A documentary that, in fact, isn’t one is presented as a frontal attack with no possibility of rebuttal, whereas in reality no evidence is shown. Above all, with careful research, there are only inconsistencies—especially considering that both individuals had vigorously defended Jackson until they found themselves without any money and then decided to recant and produce this material. It is a poorly made, contradictory, and incoherent piece of fiction, with unsettling direction designed to disturb the viewer but offering no clarity whatsoever. See more Amanda E @RT07268872 1d I wish there was an option to rate this a 0. Lies, lies and more lies. A desperate attempt to make money off Michael Jackson’s name. Anyone involved in this should be ashamed of themselves. To sit there and make up lies about someone who opened up their home to you and was nothing but kind. Disgusting. See more Tea B @RT27343085 3d LIES, LIES AND NOTHING BUT LIES. I've been to St. Maria for the trial in 2005. Not ONE media person who was in that courtroom was convinced that he was remotely guilty of any wrongdoing other than being falsley accused and finally aquitted of all the allegations. Once and for all. But the money sucking vampires can never get enough. See more Sonia D @Vicen 4d This is unacceptable Yes we know who’s definitely running the media News, racist Neanderthals, pedophobic creatures who can’t stand to see an innocent black man be successful and happy . Yes I know Yall want to bring Micheal down so bad you had to go out of your way to produce false documentaries about him, wow I can believe this!! After taking over his catalog you all stooped so low to do this , well I’m not supposed to be surprised! In a world ruled and govern by weak creatures basically whites who think they’re powerful they will never be peace for the original people…. See more Orcanda L @RT28197371 4d Once again, they’re sticking to their narrative. It’s disappointing - instead of choosing integrity and self-reflection, they continue to lie. See more Marc E @RT78768711 4d A load of rubbish, based on false information. See more Read all reviews
