Audience Member Wow Did not see that ending coming? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Dark psychological thriller as understood by a PTSD hampered hero. Deft portrayal by Elba. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty good flick - Idris Elba - good acting Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Idris Elba is stunning. Movie is a bit uneven, but the ending makes up for it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Not sure what this movie was trying to be, but I think it failed in the end. Poor Dris. He had me looking forward to this one. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member If you're looking for a star actor in a horrible movie, this is it! Although Elba is a great actor, he could not save this film from its horrible plot line, bland characters and choppy editing. The dialogue for the main character was basically inaudible, and there were no subtitles to depend on. The supporting cast performances were bland at most; casting a bad shadow on Elba, as he continues to give his best, which portrays him as an over-actor. The editing style did nothing for the flow of the story, thus adding to the one star rating. Overall, this was a haphazard attempt at an underdeveloped phycological thriller. Michael Ordoña Los Angeles Times Aspiring for psychological drama rather than action movie, the film takes itself far too seriously. Rated: 2/5 Oct 14, 2010 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Elba carries the lead role and the film. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 13, 2020 Full Review Norm Schrager Filmcritic.com ... the director has a good eye and a great lead actor to pull Legacy through. Rated: 3/5 Jan 23, 2011 Full Review Jeffrey Chen ReelTalk Movie Reviews As a showpiece for Elba, the movie functions well, and will probably be regarded mainly for being just that. Rated: 7/10 Jan 13, 2011 Full Review Alexander Pashby Electric Sheep A tight psychological thriller that punches well above its low-budget weight. Oct 26, 2010 Full Review Amber Wilkinson Eye for Film Featuring plenty of visceral thrills and presented with more intelligence than many of the thrillers which spring from Hollywood strafing cliche bullets to little effect, it suggests everyone concerned is destined for bigger, better things in the future.
