See more 02/11/2017 Hollywood veteran John Carradine does some end-of-career slumming in this cheap horror film about a group of relatives who have the spend the night in Carradine's spooky mansion in order to inherit his fortune. The relatives then find themselves getting knocked off one by one. The film really qualifies as so-bad-it's-good. I think my favorite aspect was the many out-of-date fashions with the characters dressing more like they're from the early 60s than the early 70s, adding to the bizarreness of the film (the police chief with the Col. Sanders tie was a nice touch). Also, the mansion exterior looked really families and when I looked it up, it was actually the same mansion used in the 1960s Batman series as stately Wayne Manor. Overall, this is really a zero star film, but I did get one and a half starts worth of enjoyment out of it. See more 02/11/2014 It's slow and stale, and it gets really weird towards the end. Decent campy gore, bland dialog, and boring characters. Classy feel, but the stupidity ultimately hurts the entertainment value.
