07/14/2015 A very goofy, over the top, samurai movie. This film is directed by Kinji Fukasaku, who I am a great fan of. It also has Sonny Chiba in. This film is very fun but a bit too over the op for my liking. It was really entertaining to watch and also the plot was quite a joy to follow. This feels like Jupiter's Ascending if it was made in 1980's Japan and was a samurai movie. It does have a lot of so-bad it's good qualities to it. It feels very reminiscent of my childhood, if I was 9 when I saw this, I would of loved it.
