This is where we get something like an evil twin version of Stitch: Leroy. If that wasn't enough, there's also a lackluster parody of Winnie the Pooh named Reuben. Go to Full Review

A Lilo & Stitch picture that ends warmly has done its duty, though I suppose only by the skin of its teeth. Go to Full Review

I think what has kept these shows fresh is that they don't try to be anything more than what they are %u2013 a silly kids show. Go to Full Review

Thankfully, the movie's conclusion seems to indicate that no further installments are forthcoming - a welcome development, to be sure. Go to Full Review

Frankly, Leroy & Stitch looked to me like no more than an extended version of one of Disney's Lilo & Stitch television episodes. Go to Full Review

Ash P @AshParth Nov 21 I meant to see this movie back at summertime, but I'd completely forgotten it. Might as well get this out of the way since I think this is a better sequel when it comes to these Disney direct-to-DVD movies that are as mixed as their live-action remakes. I can go far as to say I like this movie more than Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch and Stitch: The Movie. Plus, it's something that I would call a good conclusion not only to the series but to the franchise as a whole. Just a heads up, there will be some spoilers. You have been warned. The movie is about Lilo, Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley getting awarded from the Grand Counsilwoman after successfully gathering all of the remaining six-hundred and twenty-four experiments that were loose throughout Lilo and Stitch: The Series. They were given an award, but that would mean Lilo would have to say goodbye to Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley. A day goes by after she tells them to get their just rewards, yet she misses them a day after. What they didn't know is that Gantu is sick and tired of his failures and decides to break Hamsterviel out of prison. Hamsterviel sees Jumba in his new lab, discovering that he was about to create a new experiment of his own. Hamsterviel takes advantage and forces the experimentation to finish up, creating an even more powerful experiment who Hamsterviel dubbed Leroy. With Leroy created and cloned to over a hundred, Hamsterviel took over the Grand Counsil and sent Leroy to capture all of the experiments. Yeah, it's a simple story, but where's the fun in that. What's more important for how the movie plays out is sticking together as a family, belonging, and responsibility, even when you're far apart. You do feel for each of the characters for a span of a day between Lilo, Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley. Some heartfelt moments when you know they'd been through thick and thin since the previous movies and the TV series. Meanwhile, relationships between the characters develop, such as Pleakley and Jumba, which, let's be honest, you'd want to ship them after that phone call, right? You'd also see the relationship between Gantu and Hamsterviel as if they're arguing like an old married couple until the tables have turned. I won't spoil much about it, but it's hilarious how working with a toxic boss is like. Then you have a relationship being developed between Lilo and Experiment 625, or as she finally names him Reuben, who shows off that he can do more than just make sandwiches. As far as the other characters go, the Grand Counsilwoman doesn't play much. Nani only shows up for a couple of scenes. Cobra Bubbles only shows up via voice message. Myrtle was just there when Gigi got captured by Leroy. This movie is certainly a little more action paced with how Leroy defeated Stitch ever since his birth and during the final fight between the army of Leroy and the rest of Jumba's experiments that were captured. It was a cool final fight between both parties until we found out about Leroy's weakness. I will be honest, it was kinda lame for what they were going for, but not everything has to be indestructible, amirite? Reminder, Stitch can't swim. The animation is much better than how it was like when comparing it to Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch and on the same level as Stitch: The Movie. There are a couple of hiccups like one of the backgrounds looking like a cardboard cutout, and that one scene when Gantu's ship that resides around that waterfall that looks ridiculous, I couldn't help but laugh. Speaking of comedy, it's a mixed bag. Some of the comedy made me laugh a couple of times. Other times, awkward. The voice actress for Lilo, Daveigh Chase, returns in this movie for one final time. Chris Sanders not only continues to play Stitch, but voices Leroy, too. David Ogden Stiers voices Jumba one last time before he passed away in 2018. Kevin Michael Richardson continues to voice as Gantu. Kevin McDonald continues to voice as Pleakley. Rob Paulson continues to voice as Reuben along with some of the other experiments. Jeff Bennett continues to voice Hamsterviel along with some of the other experiments. Despite their short roles, everyone else who voices the remaining characters are still good. The music is okay, as there are a couple of times when you'd hear a remix of "Aloha, E Komo Mai" that you'd hear from the end credits of Stitch: The Movie and the intro of Lilo and Stitch: The Series. Then you have that one Elvis Presley song that was used in the movie a few times. They're okay, in my opinion. This is a decently paced movie for a good conclusion to not only Lilo and Stitch: The Series, but to the franchise, as well. Until the Stitch! anime, Stitch and Ai, and the Lilo and Stitch (20205) movie. As far as me covering Stitch! and Stitch and Ai, don't expect a review of them until down a very long road whenever I find them. Those aside, this is worth watching if you're a Lilo and Stitch fan as well as finding one of the better Disney direct-to-DVD sequels that came out back in the late 90s to 2000s. As Nani says it multiple times, not only does Aloha mean hello, but it also means farewell. (And yes, it is a fact after looking that one up). I will give this franchise's conclusion six and a half happy family photo shoot out of ten. 6.5/10. See more Vasqu3z V Aug 14 Great Ending for a unique Series!
