"A case of style over substance, and that's not even mentioning the blatant sexism" I can't agree more, although, I did like it a lot less than this brief reviewer put. It basically makes every gender out to be totally souless and idiotic. It's about as sexist as films come..and from both sides no less. I guess this was expected considering it's plot outline.. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A case of style over substance, and that's not even mentioning the blatant sexism. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I watched "Les Femmes" throughout the course of the day. A killing from my last trip to VTG. It was alright. The use of flashbacks. Lots of beautiful women. Brigitte Bardot, of course. Just an ok movie. Pretty predictable. Then I popped in "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind". After having a bottle and a half of wine, I knew I wasn't going to make it so I just watched Sam Rockwell's screen test (a special feature on the DVD)...let's just add him to the list of celebrities that I wouldn't mind doing. Maybe just celebrities with qualities that I wouldn't mind recognizing in regular, everyday kinda guys. I've been infatuated with him ever since I saw him in "A Midsummer Night's Dream"...you know, the one with Calista Flockhart and Sophie Marceau, and Rupert Everet. Great flick. Anyway...in the screen test he does some dancing. It's almost like Beck has come alive in this guy. I can see some resemblence just in their statures. Anyway, I totally think I would have a chance if I ever met him, that's all I'm saying. Maybe that's the wine talking. I'm adding him to my list of "sexiest celebs" or whatever silly category they have. That's it...for at least the next few minutes. I can't even type straight. I need to go. Laters.
