Audience Member "Lesson Plan" is the true story of the California high school classroom experiment in 1967, wherein history teacher Ron Jones created a fascist state in his class during a Holocaust lesson. The story is commonly known as "The Wave" and two prior movies have been based on it ("The Wave" in 1981, and "Die Welle" in 2008). In the Lesson Plan film, Jones and about a dozen original students recount the experience (originally called "The Third Wave").
