Lethal Weapon 2 may sport a thin plot typical of action fare, but its combination of humor and adrenaline, along with the chemistry between its leads, make this a playful, entertaining sequel.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/16/24 Full Review Jay H My favorite of the Lethal Weapon series, and one of the best action movies I've seen. It's terrific. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/24 Full Review Geke g Very clever ending and nice plot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/31/24 Full Review Munkhchimeg T Good movie in 80s. Even some scenes may schock you but worth it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/25/24 Full Review Farah R Boasting the same momentum as its predecessor, Lethal Weapon 2 is a solid sequel that brings back more of what audiences loved about the first movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/19/24 Full Review Audience Member The late Richard Donner is back along with co-stars Mel Gibson as LA cops Riggs and Danny Glover as Murtaugh It’s the follow-up to the original Lethal Weapon This time the two mismatched officers are after South African smugglers unfortunately they are protected by diplomatic immunity Witness protection duty is the only thing Riggs and Murtagh have at this point, they can’t shoot punch or drive their way through yet it won’t stop them from getting the job done But each of their partners are being picked off one by one Joe Pesci joins the cast as the witness testifying against the drug dealers he siphoned half a billion dollars Writer Jefferey Boam this time makes the scope here international but still retaining much of the definitive buddy cop flick The action is thankfully all practical stunts particularly a scene where an entire house on stilts tumbles down and the filmmakers keep the friendship of these two in tact The stakes are also raised much higher too even tying back to Murtaugh’s past This sequel has more wit, more camaraderie, more action, and more humor The ending really could have been better and a few zanier scenes keep this from reaching perfection not to mention a paper thin plot But Donner and company managed to make what worked before present here being darker, more intense Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/08/24 Full Review Read all reviews
