Pauline Kael New Yorker Poiter is overly generous with the actors: he isn't skilled enough to shape sequences so that the actors can benefit from their closeups. Oct 19, 2023 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Let's Do It Again isn't a terribly ambitious comedy, but within its limitations it works well. And it's completely good natured. Rated: 3/4 Oct 23, 2004 Full Review Steve Warren The Barb (Atlanta) A pleasant surprise. May 9, 2023 Full Review Craig Fisher Los Angeles Free Press Most of its gags are sub-Disney. Nov 22, 2019 Full Review Jesús Fernández Santos El Pais (Spain) A confused and disorganized movie. [Full Review in Spanish] Jul 23, 2019 Full Review Austin Kennedy Sin Magazine It's not GREAT cinema or anything like that. Just a fun mild diversion, though I will probably watch it again just too see all of Cosby's great facial mugging. Rated: 3/4 May 12, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Steve D ....Lets not ever do it again. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/23 Full Review Deborah L So much fun from 3 great actors in their own right. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member the great Sidney Poitier and the once-great Bill Cosby star in buddy scam comedy they both play a milkman and a factory worker in NYC named Billy and Clyde; they want to save their church from being closed down and demolished yet they're short on the funds the extension is about up and they need $50,000 so they hatch a plan: turn whatever savings they have currently and hopefully gamble it into more from there they decide to take their wives with them to New Orleans to score big Billy and Clyde also master the art of hypnosis and they use it on a boxer Bootney Farnsworth to make him believe he's very strong but will it be that easy? how long until the jig is up? it isn't long before word gets out on Farnsworth's winning streak and every gambling king wants in on the action by the time all of them figure out the scam Billy and Clyde make a run for it and it's one heck of a fun chase through the city landscape the comedy works, the 70's jazz music brightens things up, and the shenanigans Cosby and Poitier get into is something out of a screwball comedy lightning doesn't strike the same place twice but when it does it catches a 1970's flick that's good natured as well as a fun diversion Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review s r Fun and cheesy, but falls short of the mark in its unbelievable story. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was the follow-up to "Uptown Saturday Night" and was equally as hilarious. I enjoyed it when it came out in 1975 and I still watch this movie at least 2-3 times a year. The third movie in this trilogy is "A Piece Of the Action." A more serious movie and not as funny as the first two but still very good. All three movies are very good. Highly recommended.
