Carla Hay Culture Mix Apr 17
Love Insurance Kompany is a terribly mishandled comedy/drama about the negative effects of artificial intelligence choosing love partners for people. This predictable long-winded movie fails in every way possible. Go to Full Review

It brings a concept to Tamil romantic comedy that the genre had not tried before, executes it with strong performances across the board. Go to Full Review

Such writing is the strong suit of Vignesh Shivan, who, despite failing to finish his film on a high note, delivers a simple, entertaining and casual rom-com that feels human. Go to Full Review

Vaira S Apr 11 First half was good but felt the second half was a bit dragging. PR , SJ Surya , Seemaan, Krithi Shetty acted well. See more Harish Apr 11 The futuristic rom-com Love Insurance Kompany is a mixed experience that squanders a brilliant premise on a weak and shallow screenplay. While the idea of a world where love is controlled by a high-tech app is "terrific" for a sci-fi script, the film fails to give the story any real emotional depth. Pradeep Ranganathan is energetic as Vasu, the man who tries to prove that human feelings are more powerful than a computer algorithm. His chemistry with S.J. Suryahs villainous CEO is the highlight of the movie, as their face-off scenes provide the only real spark of excitement. Krithi Shetty looks beautiful on screen, but her character often feels like a flat archetype of a social media addict rather than a real person we should care about. The screenplay is the biggest letdown, often feeling irrelevant or like a series of "WhatsApp status" jokes rather than a cohesive story. The movie spends too much time on goofy gags and not enough time making us believe in the central romance. While the music by Anirudh is great and the 2040 world looks vibrant, the "poor acting" from the secondary cast and the lack of a strong narrative grip make it a missed opportunity. It is a watchable but frustrating film that feels like a bunch of interesting ideas that never quite turned into a good movie. See more Balaji Apr 11 Good stuff: 1. Scifi elements were good but not too engaging. 2. Sustainable Farming and Agriculture are something not mainstream in cinema but welcome to see them 3. Fans will enjoy the nostalgic feeling about music . Bad stuff: 1. Too much repetition of same old stuff about privacy. See more Kanchana Srinivasan Apr 10 Hilarious movie with a great message. Multiple aspects of the movie like storyline, music, comedy and the visual presentation was a treat. See more Kevin M @MarcoKevin Jul 3 Movie caught my attention because its concept feels surprisingly close to reality. We're already getting used to asking AI personal questions and relying on technology in our daily lives, so imagining a future where AI influences our love lives didn't feel impossible. What I appreciated most is that the movie reminds us that love still requires real effort. No algorithm can truly understand human emotions or decide who we're meant to be with. That idea felt both fascinating and a little heartbreaking. Even in a world driven by technology, the movie shows that people will always fight for the ones they love. Technology may evolve, but love remains one of the strongest emotions we have. An entertaining film with a thought-provoking message about relationships in the age of AI. See more Bhavishya G @RT65969010 Apr 12 It's an attempt at something new. To highlight the few nice things: it does make one question the invisible influence of technology in our lives. The underlying idea behind the movie is interesting. The sets, outfits, and creating the futuristic/cyberpunk world definitely needed effort, which was nice. But the negatives outweigh the positives. The characters are poorly developed and feel one dimensional. The leads have zero chemistry. A lot of random misogyny. It felt flat, annoying, the "memes" weren't as funny. I would wait for this to come out on OTT to attempt to watch it, so you can walk out when you want... like I wanted to. See more Read all reviews
