Prince of Determination & Video Mogul B

This movie could've been a story about someone discovering unknown abilities with a coming-of-age message about finding a gift that can change your life, but we instead get a fantasy scenario with the common "weird incident leads to powers" trope while also making an orphanage owner look like a monster and also making NBA superstars of the era look like idiots.

for what this movie is, it does a good job. it certainty wasn't the best sports movie, being quite predictable as sports movies are, but it wasn't a bad film. I laughed throughout, and genuinely had a good time watching it. not great, but good.
