A tale of a young girl's close encounter with the galaxy's most wanted extraterrestrial. Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a small ugly "dog," whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Through her love, faith and unwavering belief in ohana, the Hawaiian concept of family, Lilo helps unlock Stitch's heart and gives him the ability to care for someone else.

Nell Minow Common Sense Media Cute story, great characters, fabulous soundtrack. Rated: 4/5 Dec 25, 2010 Full Review Ted Shen Chicago Reader Smart, poignant, and utterly beguiling. Nov 16, 2009 Full Review Richard Corliss TIME Magazine It's a bright, engaging bauble with half a dozen Elvis Presley songs for Mom and Dad, and just enough sass -- Stitch sticks his tongue into his nose and eats his snot -- to keep the tweeners giggling. Sep 2, 2008 Full Review Carson Timar ButteredPopcorn There is no doubt that Lilo & Stitch is a masterpiece. With some of the best character work ever seen in animation, a fantastic cast, and a real emotional core, the film is everything one could want in a film. Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Rebecca Long Inverse Beneath its absurdity, Lilo & Stitch captures what it feels like to yearn for belonging and to struggle to be understood. Rated: A Jul 29, 2022 Full Review Cory Woodroof 615 Film One of the most insanely creative things Disney has ever put out, hand-stitched with so much love that it’s nearly bursting at the seams. David C La historia está muy bien contada es chistosa el personaje Stitch es simpático Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/30/24 Full Review Jay W The connection between Lilo and Nani is what steals the show. Stitch is what sells all the merchandise, but the heart of the movie rests on Lilo and Nani. I remember, as a kid, I didn't like the character of Lilo. I thought she was too much of a brat. Since rewatching the film many times through the years, I find that she is accurate to how little kids act. She can be annoying sometimes, but really sweet at other times. Chris Sanders and Dean Debois had a unique vision for the film, and Disney had uncharacteristically little interference with the project. The end result is a very sweet, funny and creative movie. Much like Stitch, this is one experiment that punches well out of its weight class. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/21/24 Full Review Bradley G Lilo & Stitch is one that certainly has a ton of heart with the essence meaning of family as out of all the Disney films I have ever seen this by far the most creative one you will ever see. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/13/24 Full Review Celestial G This movie is a staple of many childhoods and for good reason! The music is great, the voice actors bring the characters to life, and the story is a stellar combination of humor and life lesson. It's the kind of Disney movie that can easily be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/24 Full Review Nick R 'Lilo and Stitch' may not hold up to the best of Disney classics, but the different direction that it takes results in new type of Disney classic. The animation is good and the story is very endearing. The characters are all very unique and lovable in their own ways. All of this is done with a sweet message that tackles the hard subject of broken families. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Michael W This animated classic was great. Chris Sanders, Daveigh Chase, Tia Carrere, Ving Rhames, Jason Scott Lee, David Ogden Stiers, Kevin Michael Richardson, and the rest of the cast did a great job on this movie. The story of the movie was entertaining and humorous. It's about finding a family and protecting them from aliens. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's a great movie for an entire family. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/16/24 Full Review Read all reviews
