This is a good and fun movie for children and for adults. Giving you a good understanding where ʻOhana (family) is all about. It focuses on a small Hawaiian family, which only consists of two sisters: Lilo and Nani. Where Nani tries her best to keep this family together. And even when she tried her best, it might not be the most suitable situation for Lilo to live in. A lab made alien "Stitch" lands on the island. Having no family at all. Lilo adopts Sticht from a rescue shelter. And tries to raise it to be a good dog. Even when it becomes more difficult with him. The movie did age quite well, being from 2002. And still holds-up as a have to watch film with your own ʻOhana.

"Lilo and Stitch" falls in a strange place in Disney's history. It's post-renaissance, but the character of Stitch has a cult following. You can't walk about Disneyland or the Disney section of any store without being bombarded with Stitch t-shirts, backpacks and other swag. The film itself is average at best. The space elements are incredibly boring and some of the characters aren't fully fleshed out. That being said, the human characters have depth and the moments focused on the culture of Hawaii are brilliant. If you can get past the first ten minutes, the rest of the movie is a fun watch. There is a slight emotional pull and everyone now knows what "ohana" means. Best Character: David Best Quote: "This is my family" - Stitch Best Scene: Surfing Scene Best Song: Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride

There is no doubt that Lilo & Stitch is a masterpiece. With some of the best character work ever seen in animation, a fantastic cast, and a real emotional core, the film is everything one could want in a film.

Like Nani and Lilo, this movie is obviously not perfect. In fact, it can be dysfunctional at times. However, its heart is true and has a strong genuine feeling that it cares about family, and that’s what makes this a beloved fan-favorite.
