Liz Shannon Miller Consequence The second half never quite lives up to the first half, and the first half feels incomplete as a narrative, which leaves the whole film feeling like a disappointment. Doug Liman’s Go did all of this a lot better, over two decades ago. Rated: C+ Jan 30, 2024 Full Review Lovia Gyarkye Hollywood Reporter Little Death can’t fulfill the ambitions of its intellectual exercise, resulting in a bifurcated film that doesn’t find its footing until the end. Jan 26, 2024 Full Review Esther Zuckerman indieWire You can see Begert’s intent in the disjointed arc of the film... Yet the whiplash of the structure is just too forceful. In splitting up the film like this every character feels shortchanged, and the relationships aren’t given any time to flourish. Rated: C Jan 25, 2024 Full Review Brandon Lewis Geek Vibes Nation Unfortunately, Begert’s structural audacity isn’t in service to its story or two. A decent story within Little Death is buried behind a tedious one. Rated: 4.5/10 Jul 3, 2024 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots Surreal, idiosyncratic, and cynical, this film has a vibe that a certain segment of indie audiences are going to adore. Mar 7, 2024 Full Review Rachel Wagner rachelsreviews.net Every character is unlikable and the animation and other artistic choices are the most basic of Sundance chic Rated: 2/10 Mar 2, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews
