Critics Consensus

As star-studded as it is heartbreakingly lazy, Little Fockers takes the top-grossing trilogy to embarrassing new lows.

Max W Little Fockers carries forward the franchise’s central tension between Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller, tracing the full arc of the father-in-law/son-in-law dynamic and amplifying every possible point of conflict. While its tendency to sideline the female characters weakens its reflection of reality, as a straightforward family comedy it still finds purpose in shining the spotlight on the universal anxieties of son-in-laws everywhere. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/25 Full Review Ciaran S Little Fockers is one of those sequels that is much worse than the last film the story is uninteresting, the script is weak, the jokes are insufferable and the acting is so lazy (and don't even get me started on Jessica Alba & Kevin Hart's unbearable performances). Barbra Streisand what are you even doing in this movie? You are an amazing actress you did fantastic performances with "Hello Dolly", "A Star Is Born" to even "Yentl" and yet somehow you had to star in THIS? Barbra i beg of you have proven time and time again you great at acting, writing and directing just DON'T do these awful movies anymore you're better than this. If there's a reminder of film sequels that shouldn't even exist........this is one of them. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/31/25 Full Review Cees T Poor Arthur. 4/10 - Lacks plot.
