Keira T This movie I find to be an accurate depiction on the effects of perfectionism. I found it to have been true to the reality of an eating disorder, because for the character Belle her disorder was fueled by many things and despite popular belief that is extremely true that an eating disorder can be caused by more than just wanting to be thin. I am speaking from personal experience when I say that this is one of the best depictions of an eating disorder. Also a side note is that even down to the coloration of the film nearing the end when the more her health declines the more desaturated the color is, and when she got treatment the color returned. I wouldn’t recommend this movie if you get easily triggered or if you’re trying to get treatment, but if not this movie is a big yes from me; and considering my personal experiences I don’t take these things lightly so trust me when I say that this movie is amazing.
