Claudio C @Claudio666 Jan 6 Lola Pater (2017) Fanny Ardant Shines in the Role of a Transgender (12,180 – 06 Jan 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) When the Algerian Malika (Lubna Azabal) dies of aneurysm, her son Zino (Tewfik Jallab) looks for his missing father Farid Chekib. He is received by the oriental dance teacher Lola Chekib (Fanny Ardant), who says that he doesn’t live there. But Lola travels to Paris later and soon Zino learns that she is his father. "Lola Pater" (2017) is a French-Belgian drama film with an original story. The uncommon plot shows an Algerian French young man discovering that his father has switched his sex and his reaction. Fanny Ardant shines in the role of a transgender. Zino is a piano tun but does not use a tuning fork. My vote is seven.
