don s Poorly paced, lacks tension, no scares, and no internal logic leads to confusion galore. This boring Korean "ghost" movie is made so much worse by the most horrible subtitling I've ever run across. Whomever did the subtitles has no notion of sentence structure or grammar, put breaks wherever they wanted instead of where they fall naturally and created an atmosphere of chaos. I had a headache by the time it was over. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie had a pretty strong and interesting start but then really derailed and became something else almost entirely. Notable, though, for being one of the few K-horrors I've seen where a male character becomes as mentally traumatized as the females. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I found it interesting. Liked it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The suicide of her best friend slowly turns Soo-Na into a hikikomori, a Japanese term for someone who socially withdraws and remains confined in one's room. Her loving uncle, who'd adopted her, seeks out his fiancee, who specializes in hikikomori, but there may be more to things. It's clear troubled teen drama in the segments involving Soo-Na's friend, then veers into horror, replete with Soo-Na in her white bedgown and long white hair. Can anyone say "Ju-On"? There are some generally creepy moments, such as bugs crawling over her and the state of the friend's room. The usual aspect in Korean films of a guilty secret being the key to the mystery is apparent here and is well-played out. Not bad, though it takes its time coming to the film's resolution. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Tristissimo ed angosciante, complimenti a tutti gli interpreti! Tanti pezzi della trama mancano fino alla spiegazione finale e questo può essere frustrante, ma l'atmosfera è davvero unica. Un film non perfetto, ma che merita di essere ricordato e rivisto! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member What a mess. Could not finish it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
