Long Time Listener is a solid start for Danielle Nicolet, who made the right decision in giving audiences a fun time with an accent of murder and death. As a film, it’s a good-looking mystery with a nostalgic 90s thriller feel.

This movie had a small amount of promise but quickly showed you as it progressed that it was going to waste your time. I wanted to see this because of Danielle Nicolete but was met with regret once the story unfolded. The character Genesis was not at all likeable. She displayed too much masculine energy and had no redeeming qualities about her. The premise wasn't bad but it was just the execution of it all. Plot holes galore, suedo clever plot twists that just made no sense and an ending that was eyeroll city. The movie was largely implausible and weak. I had to watch this twice since I fell asleep on it. No difference made! It still made no sense at the end. There was definitely some weak acting in this and really should have played on the strengths on what the actors could actually do to carry the already weak plot. Not worth a watch as you will have more questions and remarks regarding negligence in filmmaking like, "what was that?" or the classic, "they could have kept that".
