a s A satisfying animated film to watch with all ages. The characters seem well thought out. Story elements address traditional expectations as they clash with differing perspectives from people with various backgrounds. None of the characters are idealized as everyone demonstrates parts of their personalities that have room for self reflection, learning, and growth. The story has a strong foundation in family, community, and ambition. I saw this film in theater and streaming on Peacock. It's unfortunate that the streaming version did not have the original French language audio. In this age of digital distribution, I don't see why it couldn't be included. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Subtle epic composing familiar narratives under engaging, unexpected growth reminding adoring love in line with honor towards the adventurous survival stretch, all charmingly animated and performed through appealing characterization. (B+) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is brilliant, it's a journey of quality and beauty! The protagonist and the story are great! The only thing that disturbs me is that this a little too long! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Pleasant enough, but pretty plain Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/15/20 Full Review Audience Member It's a nice family friendly movie. I'm not much of a fan of this type of animated drawing, it does have its own unique effect on the viewer. There is somewhat of a somber mood to it, even for an adventure film. But I feel the story has enough freshness to it and that the lead character will work well with a lot of audiences. 3 stars even. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A wonderful animated film, poetic and simple, with beautiful graphics. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
