Leslie Felperin Guardian A mostly bland, workmanlike amble through the history of caddies. Rated: 2/5 Jul 18, 2019 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times While it may not put a fresh spin on the sports documentary format, "Loopers" gives the bag-carrying faithful a well-earned moment in the sun. Jun 7, 2019 Full Review John DeFore Hollywood Reporter The pic's mission to shine a light on the expertise of bag-toting sidekicks is admirable, and the story's told in breezy fashion. Just leave your non-golfing loved ones at home for this one. Jun 7, 2019 Full Review Michael A. Smith MediaMikes A particularly poignant sequence examines the relationship between golfer and caddie. Living as I do in Kansas City, I was happy to see local boy made good Tom Watson talk about the two-plus decades he spent with his caddie, Bruce Edwards. Rated: 4/5 Aug 21, 2019 Full Review David Parkinson Radio Times It's on the fairway, but short of the pin. Rated: 3/5 Jul 27, 2019 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film This may be outdoor work with heavy lifting but it's not short on rewards and [Jason] Baffa's film teases them out like those secrets shared on a long walk along the links. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 19, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Linda H Interesting history, great to get to know personalities and their stories, and the scenery is beautiful. If you're a fan of the game of golf you'll love this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/19 Full Review John Well done history of caddies and golf in general. If you like golf...playing or just watching, this is a must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/19 Full Review csg I never play or watch Golf but this documentary was so interesting about the history and relationship between caddies and golfers. Very worthwhile. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/10/19 Full Review Mike H the beginning of the movie was a bit hard to get through. As an avid golfer I enjoyed the movie Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/19/22 Full Review Audience Member The challenge of describing the Caddie's ongoing role in the game of Golf is one which the creators of this film did an excellent job in 80 minutes time. It is fun but also insightful enough for even non-golfers to get the humanity of the service side of the golf industry. We have tens of thousands of golf caddies past and present who would very likely also endorse this film. Remarkable that Bill Murray also lent his writing and voice to it. A great film and worthwhile entertainment. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review aleta w Good look back at history. My dad was a black caddy in the 30's to 40's and this movie tracks to the stories that he told. It was not really entertaining, but informative.
