Audience Member R.I.P. Mitch Hedberg Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member RIP to Mitch, but this movie is one of the best low budget, relatable acting movies I've ever seen. It echoes the purity of "Clerks" and is even better. I'm sure most of the viewers have either worked in fast food or in a traditional restaurant and this movie caters to both. It's highly enjoyable and the scenes with Mitch's Lee and Duane are the best, besides the poetic menu readings. Definitely and underrated cult classic for sure. (After posting this I see that I am the exact opposite of the reviewer before me. In all honesty it caters to those, I feel, who love the odd innate sense of beauty in bad acting. However, to me, I feel like it has fantastic character growth no matter how cheesy it is. It's a classic that rings home and I'd like to see the fan base grow enough to see it fully released.) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review a z It's Waiting with the production values of Clerks. I'd been hearing a lot of positive things about this movie, written and directed by the late Mitch Hedberg. I finally got my hands on a copy, but unfortunately, it's not very good. Mitch was a wonderful comic, and sometimes his humor translates well into film, but mostly it's just a low-budget, poorly acted, occasionally funny effort. RIP Mitch.
