Audience Member I really like stories about enemies put in survival situations and having to work together, then becoming good friends. It's a good movie, but nothing special. You have two boys returning from school, one forced into a new culture and the other trying to rediscover his. There's not much action in the movie. It's more about friendship and learning new skills. A good movie for kids. Adults might not appreciate it so much. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I think it is quite telling that Bart the Bear is considered to be the most famous actor in the cast. He certainly added to the mix and raised it up briefly from being a dull CBC coming of age drama. Okay to show your eight year old but mainly forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It wasn't the worst thing I have ever watched, but it wasn't even clos to being good. The dialouge was pretty bad and some of the acting could have been better. But the circumstances in wich everything unfolds are just so avoidable and stupid that it makes you think that the director must have thought the people watching this would have below average IQs. Oh well it did kill an hour and a half on a lazy afternoon. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Very unrealistic and poorly acted, still it could have been much worse. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member It's really a good film if you haven't seen it. It's hard to find, though. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member classic film right out of the novel Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
