Matt M It's undeniably rough around the edges but I didn't really mind. The performances and handling of the subject matter were excellent. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/16/23 Full Review DPC Yet another pegg vanity project that no one has ever heard of or could care even about, can someone just tell him to stop now please Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/26/23 Full Review steve d its cast is waisted in a film that never seems to know what it wants to be. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review toby h Lost Transmissions is a mishmash, a serious subject matter but no script to accompany it. You'll cringe at the story and chemistry. Pegg and Temple come out of this unscathed, giving their all. It doesn't transmit. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie started strong, with beautiful colour and camera work, however, as the story went on, it started to lose its way. The ending felt unfinished and lost its chance to leave a lesson or strong impression. The acting was phenomenal. I cannot think of a way for the actors to approach their characters mental illness better it's just a shame the story didn't do the same justice. Lots of potential just could have used a bit longer to create a stronger ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Lost Transmissions is one of the best & brilliantly well acted films on metal health, I have ever seen in recent years. with a moving story & especially the performances from Simon Pegg as record producer Theo Ross & Juno Temple as shy singer Hannah. highly recommended. 4/5. :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Ian Freer Empire Magazine Lost Transmissions is a clear-eyed view of schizophrenia, aided by a powerful Simon Pegg performance yet hamstrung by some woolly filmmaking and a whiff of pretension. Rated: 3/5 Jun 30, 2020 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) It's too much. It's cringeworthy. It's profoundly hammy. But a smarter film could have hidden it better. Rated: 2/5 Jun 27, 2020 Full Review Glenn Kenny New York Times Temple and Pegg, when their characters aren't falling apart (and even sometimes when they are), convey intelligence and mutual regard with refreshing straightforwardness. Mar 17, 2020 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com The kind of gritty, naturalistic type of film that seldom gets made anymore. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Sep 14, 2020 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix [Juno] Temple and [Simon] Pegg are very talented in other movies, but watching them trying to create chemistry together that doesn't exist in Lost Transmissions is almost painful to watch. Jul 12, 2020 Full Review Ella Kemp NME (New Musical Express) The lack of attention to detail comes from a script which is more interested in its political message than in believable world-building.
