Audience Member Sweet coming of age film sees teenage Victor played by Devon Werkheiser who has a crush on Anya played by Scout Taylor Compton, as he pathetically tries to woo her with the help of his two friends and his street smart little brother. Sure this is pretty formulaic for these types of movies but it does have heart which goes a long way to enjoying it. Ray Wise also stars as the girls father. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A very underrated comedy that relates to a bunch of teens everywhere who has or had a crush. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw this under the title THE FIRST TIME, both titles actually make sense though. It's a movie about two virgins falling in love, after the lead guy wows her with his odd traits...one being getting hiccups around her. Okay, the dude can be okay at times, but his awkward white guy act can get really annoying at times...seriously, what girl would love a spider? Think man! Scout Taylor-Compton is beyond awesome in this. She plays the hot Senior to his Freshman, and it was nice to see that while she starts with the cliche 'jerk,' she quickly drops him for a guy more like her. I loved the brother part too. He was funny, especially his scene with Richard Moll buying condoms. Ray Wise as Scout's dad and Octivia Spencer, as a teacher, are also really good. The only person in the cast that seemed OFF was the best friend of Scout's character. She just acted and looked like a 35 year old woman, not a High School girl. The plot is nothing original, but it's fun none-the-less. But don't be fooled by the R rating. I literally found nothing to make this above PG. Unless I missed something. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member it was a great laugh and touching love story, with nothing to explicit. I loved all the characters, especially Victor's brother who I found the most hilarious out of all of them but that's just me. It's a real good film and I'd definitely recommend it! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member cute :D and some funny moments :D Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member it's too much jd malah eneg liatnya eww,,, Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
