Kathy H Was this show racist? Absolutely! It's intention was to highlight the ridiculousness of racism. But it highlighted class, too: in this show, the wealthier Tory voter wins every argument hands down. Isn't that hilarious? However, if you can manage to ignore modern sensibilities and judge it on its own terms it's one of the more entertaining t.v. sitcom to movie "conversions". Likeable characters, a fun plot and sub-plots and a very amusing ending.
