Synopsis
This documentary captures the three-day Holland Pop Festival held in the summer of 1970. In a festival similar to that of Woodstock in the United States, Holland Pop boasted some of the top acts of the day, including Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Santana and Dr. John. Additionally, numerous Dutch bands of the era, including Ekseption and C.C.C. Inc., are featured in the movie. Musicians play despite bad weather and lightning, espousing their political opinions between songs.
