Audience Member At first, I thought I wouldn't survive the clichà (C)s and the miscast female lead of this variation on "two men and a baby." But there's more to this movie than just an entertaining rom-com that is forgotten the next morning. Like in her first movie, Giafferi's male personages seem to possess very limited capacities: they are only good at what they think they are good at and are much afraid of anything else. Their female partners, on the other hand, just do what has to be done, even when they've never done it before. In the end, Giafferi seems to think men can change, but it's not an easy process... they will have to use their fists before gaining any wisdom. Is that what is meant with "toxic masculinity"? Well, looking at the personage of the gay friend in the movie, the answer is certainly yes! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Ange et Gabriel is a romantic comedy movie full of cliches and predictable; yet it still provides an enjoyable hour and half. Emilie Black Cinema Crazed ... a light-hearted take on a story that could have been a heavy, preachy one. The performances, especially by Isabelle Carré and Patrick Bruel are delightful and sweet to watch. Love at First Child is not a filmyou'll remember the week after you've watched it, but it's anice enough way to pass the time. Jul 12, 2017 Full Review Natalia Velázquez Luna En Filme In spite of being too much in the vein of classic romantic comedies to see the film's modern take on family dynamics.
