Theresa J I loved this movie!! I purchased it and watch it at least twice every Christmas. The acting was good and I believed the story - even that Lea's character pined for her love over the years. It didn't feel rushed, even though it only took place at Christmas. I did wish there were a few more details, but overall, a favorite of mine. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/18/24 Full Review danielle r Every review is 4 or 5 stars except one, so not sure how 62% is calculated.. This had that Hallmark vibe (though definitely not as G-rated) but if it had been made by a major studio it would have done really well. Good story and good acting. A little far-fetched, of course, but a lot of good movies are. I was pleasantly surprised. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Really cute! One of the best TV Christmas movies! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/04/19 Full Review Audience Member The dialogue for this movie is better than any romance movie I've ever seen. It's witty while still having a natural amount of profanity and innuendo. It's insightful, especially a conversation about Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. It's realistic and gender-neutral; not mired by traditional gender roles or stereotypes. This is how real couples express their anger. This is how real couples joke around. This is how real couples have brief moments of true insight before changing the subject to something more light-hearted so as to not think about the uncertain future. This is truly a realistic and romantic movie, and you can see yourself in the characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute Romantic Christmas movie, that was enjoyable and left the warm fuzzies. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Sucker for Rom-Com movies with a plot like this. Even though vaguely remember seeing this last year, glad I don't remember most of it & was able to enjoy watching it as though it was my first time.
