c.a. l So the mom seems a little too uptight which is sad because I liked the actress when she played Grace Van Pelt in the Mentalist. Peter Porte was fun and engaging as Lucas, but it was the kids that saved the movie. They looked like and interacted like a real brother and sister. The interaction between Lucas (Porte) and Nick (Luke Loveless) was cute and believable in the B story about Lucas helping Nick improve his swim time. Loveless did a great job showing disappointment when his character was let down by Lucas. And of course, Ally (Reagan Shumate) was a hit training Happy, the Hallmark dog. I'd watch it again! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Ice Queen meets supposed beatnik and things get revealed in an engaging happy ending movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Prefer when Hallmark children have less dialogue...those kids were annoyingly overacting. Otherwise the adult actors/chemistry was fine, nice scenery, good storyline. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/28/18 Full Review Audience Member This was another good summer movie, but I found it pretty similar to Like Cats and Dogs.
