Audience Member Part of Prism Video's 'Romance Theatre'. An internal promotion is at stake and candidate Glynnis is torn between feelings of a burgeoning romance in Pheonix and the attentions of her main rival for the job. I was skeptical on the outset but then became involved in the gut-wrenching complications in search of romance such as work, location and ambitions. James makes out worst, a good man with honest intentions whose feelings are trampled on in Glynnis' pursuit of bigger and better things. Thankfully actor Louis Jourdan is here to guide the viewer along with the rollercoaster of emotions. I was prepped for an erotic thriller; and attractive couple on video box cover do not appear in the film--which seems to be quite a bit older than the video release date of 1986. This one is still awaiting five votes on IMDB. Host Louis Jordan is on hand again to set the story about two lingerie sales reps dueling for an executive position. One of them, Glynnis, appears to have something decent going on with James in Phoenix but is also growing fond of her rival for the promotion, Kyle. In heartless fashion, Glynnis ends up dumping James after he flies cross country to see her when Kyle asks her to accompany him on a trip. Much like a soap opera. I like how Glynnis dumps the guy who flew cross country to see her the moment Kyle asks her to go on a trip. She is cold.
