Peter Rainer FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It's reasonably compelling but overlong. Jun 28, 2023 Full Review Ruth Maramis FlixChatter Film Blog An affecting WWII musical drama set in the Warsaw ghetto that's filmed in real-time. Visually arresting with interesting camera work, but it's the music that's the real highlight. Antonia T Love Gets a Room is a masterpiece about love, art, antisemitism, courage, death, and survival. A jewel that will make you weep, laugh, sing, and cry. Written by Rodrigo Cortés & David Safier and directed by Rodrigo, the movie is set at the Warsaw ghetto in January 1942 (six months before the deportations to the Treblinka extermination camp). The cinematography (Rafael García) of Love Gets a Room and the music (Víctor Reyes) will take your breath away. The cast is absolutely superb: Clara Rugaard, Ferdia Walsh-Peelo, Henry Goodman, Anastasia Hille, Valentina Bellè, Mark Ryder, Freya Parks, Jack Roth, Magnus Krepper and our beautiful, amazing and talented Dalit Streett Tejeda as little Sarah. Bravo to all! 10/10. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/26/23 Full Review StephenPaul C The greatest 01 hour: and 43 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
