stephen b There were multiple different angles it could have taken and focused that would have led to fascinating stories. Instead, it tried to cram just too many different elements into the narrative. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/23 Full Review Meleah P Plot moves kind of slow and then super fast, but that's to be expected of a celeb documentary since that seems to be how fame goes. Important discussions about body and representation that rarely gets displayed, which is ultimately what makes it fresh. Lizzo is charming, original, open, and talented. A critical reminder that being in a bigger body doesn't (and needn't) stop those who are passionate about what they do — and that fatphobes can hate you but in the end, can't stop you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Debbie N She has a beautiful face but if she wants to show her body off she needs to lose weight! As for the movie I'll skip it! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/07/22 Full Review Cheeky M Lizzo! What an inspiration to everyone. An insightful presentation of a down to earth mega star. Reach baby, reach! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/30/22 Full Review Jonathan S A bore. Light on story. Tried to squeeze too much in. No good guys and bad guys. Nothing that makes a great Doc. Very one note. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/22 Full Review Azael R An inspiring life story and very well told during the documentary, the connections between the transitions in time, from the present to the past, are very well done and make everything linear and beautiful. Lizzo is one of the best people in this world and deserves all the success she has already achieved and more! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/26/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Craig Mathieson Sydney Morning Herald Director Doug Pray makes some inroads into the authorised biography genre, engaging the pop star in thoughtful conversation that searches for the intersection of her music and beliefs, that is matched to force of nature concert footage. Dec 30, 2022 Full Review Benjamin H. Smith Decider Love, Lizzo is the latest bio-doc of a pop star in the middle of their career, not the end, and hits all the same notes (to an almost comic degree), from scenes of them crying in bed to excitedly watching the Grammy announcements. Mar 14, 2023 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider Love, Lizzo offers biographical boilerplate, professional benchmarks, personal manifestos, and proud calls for body positivity all at once from the Grammy-winning singer, flutist, and rapper. Nov 30, 2022 Full Review Nicole Ackman Ready Steady Cut Throughout the whole 90-minute documentary, Lizzo’s voice rings through and it’s hard not to get swept up in her big dreams and plans.
