This movie tries so hard to convince you that treating a girl badly, invading her personal space, and acting like the stereotypical "mysterious bad boy" is attractive. It isn’t. It’s just uncomfortable. The dialogue made me cringe, the chemistry felt forced, and my gag reflex genuinely got more screen time than the romance. The writing keeps insisting James is irresistible, but never actually makes you feel it. Instead of butterflies, I got second-hand embarrassment. By the end, I wasn’t emotionally invested—I was just relieved the credits finally appeared. And before anyone asks why I finished it if I disliked it that much: because I refuse to judge a movie without giving it a fair chance. Unfortunately, it never got better for me. Half a star. The other half belongs to my gag reflex for surviving this experience.
