Audience Member Oh wow!! This is really a fantastic show! Hallmark at it's best. What a beautiful backdrop of autumn colours and corn fields, freshly picked fruit. And then … Kelly Rutherford. She is so luminous. She lights up every scene she is in. And she portrays her on screen character (Amy) so amazingly. Amy has the perfect balance that many women aspire to. She is strong and courageous, yet with a tinge of fragility. She is a loving mum, involved in her daughter's life but knowing when to draw the line. She is professional but knows how to have fun. Wonderful. It is a real testament to her mothering that her daughter is such a likeable and balanced teen who doesn't have nose rings, ink and attitude. Her daughter is a giving person who comes across as socially stable and who loves and appreciates her mum. And … Cameron Mathison. Seriously, what is there not to love. That is all man right there. His character (Noah), oof … every woman's dream. A professor, so a braniac who works the land with his hands (faint) and he cooks and brings over chicken soup! Without any ulterior motive, he just does that. Checks on the fire, tucks the blanket around Amy. I want one of him please!! I love how the relationship between Amy and Noah develops. They don't agree on everything but are civilised about it and they both learn to give and take, to be flexible and to hear each other out – that kind of respect is the basis of a relationship that has a real shot at lasting. I love the way he was guiding her through the maze towards him. Gosh!! So romantic!! And so cute, they still have a young streak in their adulthood - Marco Polo, hilarious! Oh yeah Amy, you hold on to that muscular manly arm for the rest of us women who want to! Haha Their chemistry is beautiful to watch especially when they were slow dancing. So much I love about this show. I generally really dislike all the movies with the bridezillas and the young couples quarrelling about silly things, jealous outbursts, young people fighting for their careers with each other and just the general level of immaturity. But this show is wonderful as it is about two mature people. It gives me hope that beyond being single again (not in the spring of my youth), there is hope of finding love again. I wish I could buy this DVD from Amazon! The only reason I got to watch this show is because someone uploaded it on YouTube. I'm sure it will get taken down soon but there are thousands of us who cannot access these movies any other way especially if Amazon is not selling the DVD.
