steve d Very little there, even for a Halmark movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm a huge fan of cheesy Hallmark movies. This one is one of my favorites just because it was different than their standard movies because there was beautiful cinematography, there was like a deeper meaning than just a girl who has a boyfriend and meets somebody else and dumps the boyfriend. And I love Lacey!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member One if not the best films I've seen with a hallmark logo on it. The animals capture your attention from the first scene and to know that it was filmed in Africa makes it 10 times more captivating. This film is for all ages even little kids will love the animals while the parents will like the romance in the movie. In total this movie gets 5 stars! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member What I dislike most about this movie is they went to Africa and the main characters are still white?! This is classic Hallmark but in Africa, why even go to another country if you are going to keep the same Hallmark model? It felt like the "Africans" were just there to push the story along so that the white woman can come through and "save" them. I know that Hallmark movies are highly predictable but I was hoping for something different this time. I should have known. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie featured Lacy Chabert as an insecure, mousy character who can be manipulated but finds her inner strength to overcome obstacles. The plot was not very believable since she claimed that she hadn't thought of the animal reserve for years or even of the relative leaving it to her. Her pain of deciding whether to sell or keep the reserve is what she does in all her gawd awful movies. Cor who plays Tom Anderson acts like a petulant crybaby who tricks Kira into keeping the reserve and breaking up with her boyfriend. The actors in this movie are nonexistent and don't contribute anything entertaining. The scenery is alright since they could have done a better job of cinematography. Movie sucked. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie. Want to buy when it comes out on DVD Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
