Kate Taylor Globe and Mail A film of genre-busting twists and devilish narrative turns that never manages to turn its quirkiness into genuine charm nor its cleverness into real feeling. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 17, 2006 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety A competently handled puzzler whose derivative resolution proves its undoing. Sep 29, 2005 Full Review Susan Walker Toronto Star Lucid tries one's patience, more maddening than it is elucidating. Rated: 2/4 Sep 24, 2005 Full Review Brian Gibson Vue Weekly (Edmonton, Alberta) Lacks a sense of enveloping eeriness, of a creeping suspense driving scenes forward. . . . packs all its power into its punchy conclusion. Jun 15, 2006 Full Review David Schmeichel Jam! Movies A chilly and efficient thriller. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 17, 2006 Full Review Bruce Kirkland Jam! Movies If only it all made sense. If only Lucid really was that clear. Rated: 2.5/5 Mar 17, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews
