Its storytelling is engaging and emotionally resonant, keeping you invested from beginning to end. It also exposes the ugly face of misogyny, showing how some men react with abuse when women refuse to conform to their expectations. Even more unsettling is how victims are sometimes abandoned or blamed by other women instead of being supported. See more Fantasy R @RT20196947 2d Beautiful movie. I loved how they showed the stigma surrounding widows. Women who wear a very non promiscuous piece of clothing, i.e. the sleeveless blouse are instantly labled as a 'daayan' and are sexualized. This movie showed just how these stigmas harm the life of an ordinary woman. Loved the story's pacing too and the actors all killed it. Especially the main trio. Those who criticized the movies saying it promoted obscene behaviour clearly didn't watch the whole movie or come from a place of deep rooted misogyny.
